Jake and the service department are just great to deal with. If buying a Chevy at any other dealership other than Riverview Chevy, you are doing yourself a disservice.

GOOD SERVICE REPRESENTATIVES

This is the second time I’ve made an appointment online only to be told once arriving that they have no record of me having an appointment.

Im still hearing a scraping noise when I make right hand turns. I thought that would be fixed after my ball joint and control arm were replaced. My engine also seems to shudder when accelerating. Like its almost sputtering when gaining speed.

Service department was great. Car finished before promised time.

Work completed as promised.

I give my service visit a 5 star rating. My appointment was at 9:00 and the team I met upon arrival was friendly and efficient. Shortly before 9:00 I received a text from Christopher, the mechanic servicing my car. The text reassured me that he had the car and work had begun on time. His text also gave me a contact should I have any questions. I scheduled my service appointment on line for an inspection, oil change and tire rotation. I also requested a multi point check of the battery, tire pressure, fluids and wiper blades. Christopher completed the work in a timely fashion and every item I requested was done perfectly. Friendly staff! Helpful, but I don’t think my issue is resolved. Still having issues.

My appointment was for 10am on October 10th. I wanted an oil change, tires rotation and my brakes checked. Since my last inspection my brakes would screech when I backed up. I don't think they checked the brakes because they still screech. They said they checked the air pressure in my tires, I don't think they did. I finally left at 230pm.

Was not given the correct credit amount ftom my coupon. Stop & spoke to service and was advised they'd call me. Waited 2 days no call. Called and left message with service manager and still no return call. Called again and asked to talk with someone. They said they would send me the refund ck and still haven't received this.

Had an oil change and our wheels changed to the ones we like to use in the winter. Good service. They even marked each wheel (these are Fuels) so we know how they will go back on in the spring!

Dropped vehicle off and was told four hrs for repair and vehicle done on time and problem fixed.

I just paid 97.00 with a 25.00 off coupon for an oil change. Last year in June it was 71.00. Don’t know what the hell happened. Called and they said that’s chevys price. Up over 50.00 in one year? Needless to say I won’t be back

EXCELLENT SERVICE.

For the most part, the service is great. My only complaint is that I never get a call when my truck is done. I always have to call to see if the service is complete. Sometimes that makes me scramble for a ride to pick my truck up.

After making a 9:00 AM appointment for an oil change, and arriving at 8:53 to check in, I was notified at approximately 11:00 AM that my vehicle was finished. I was presented with a bill for $143+, in spite of the TV screen behind him showing $99.95 for this service. He explained to me my vehicle took 8 quarts which was false. After involving the service manager (who explained that GM sets the prices on the screen, not the dealership) he refused to take a $15 coupon that the dealership had provided me on my last service visit. After leaving the dealership, I stopped at a parking lot and checked the oil level, which turned out to be overfilled. I returned to the dealership and they adjusted the level to the proper mark. Also, upon examination of the invoice, it was noted that the tire inflation had been adjusted to the proper levels and the tire monitors reset. This was totally false, they hadn't been touched. This will be my last visit to this dealership for service.

I made an unannounced appearance to repair a sidewall tire puncture and a vehicle state inspection. Riverview replaced the tire and completed the passing inspection. All my questions were answered and the required services were completed in an expeditious manner. At this time, I am satisfied with their service.

My car’s check engine light turned on, and Riverview went above and beyond to make sure I understood my warranty and my options.

The one thing I didn't like was service department blaming parts department for something that has was not communicated. A customer should never hear that. Keep it internal and work it out!!!

Good customer and care. I did like that I had to spend $1100 for repairs and maintenance and I bought the car September 2025. But grateful that the service team too $100 off.

I needed a day to think about the Purchase.. I specifically asked my salesman if I should schedule an appointment. I said I would be back around lunchtime the next day. Was that good? He said yes, he was always there. Well, I went back at lunchtime the next day and he wasn’t there. Others tried to help. “He” came back after about 1.5 hours and had another customer with him. It was obvious the other was more important. He was buying a big truck. The sales mgr tried to help but he reeked so bad of cigarettes it was hard to concentrate on what he was saying. Also, it was hard to tell the managers, from the salesmen, from the mechanics, by the way they were dressed. I did buy the car because I liked it but it wasn’t the greatest experience.

I arrived at 11:00 AM, my scheduled appointment time, and met with Bryan. Bryan recorded the details of my service needs which included: PA State Inspection, oil change, tire rotation and repair/removal of a scratch on my windshield. Bryan consulted with the Service Manager, Mike, about the windshield work. The Service Manager instructed Bryan to have the car taken to the Detailing Shop first to have the windshield work performed, then, have the remaining services completed after the windshield work was completed. At 12:55 PM I told Bryan my car was sitting in the parking lot, and, that it appeared that no one from the Detail Shop had performed any work on the windshield. Bryan immediately went to the Detail Shop and brought someone out to look at my car. I met the 2 men in the parking lot at my car. After looking at the scratch in the windshield the Detailer said he did not have a Jeweler's Rouge, so he could not buff out the scratch. Ten minutes later someone else moved the car into the Service Area. One hour later the State Inspection, Oil Change and Tire Rotation services were completed and the car was returned to me. I spent a total of 3-1/2 hours in the dealership to have 4 services performed. In the end 3 out of 4 services were completed. It took the Detail Shop 2-1/2 hours to tell me there was nothing they could do to repair the scratch in my windshield.

Always professional and always there when I need them..

Came in to get a new battery - was treated with respect throughout the visit. Was pleased that my GM Rewards points cut the cost of the work in half!

I spent three hours waiting for my car to be inspected. I was told they would put my registration card and my insurance card on the seat, they did not. The emission control sheet was there and I thought the cards were under it,. When I got home and picked up the emissions report the cards were not there. I called and after I told them I would not be able to come back in they sent some one out with the cards. I was most appreciative! also every time my care gets inspected, they rotate my tires. They did not this time. I was also told the emission report even though milage was very low, I could not get the free service as I was six or seven days to early. I feel I should have been made aware that you only have or had two mechanics working on Saturday. I would have rescheduled for another day. Also, I think I should have been advised about the emissions report before the inspection was done. I have been coming here since I purchased my car there 2017, and I have never had this happen. I appreciate the work that was done. I just feel I should have been informed of the other facts, not enough mechanics and emission were to early to get the low emission service.

Oil change cost $140 at the dealership i never in my life paid that much for an oil change. If I new that I would of went elsewhere. I bought my car from this dealership and thought i would get a discount but they never gave me a discount on my oil change at all.

Not happy

Service tech Brian inspected my car. Incorrect date put on new inspection stickers. When told, Brian informed me that it’s my responsibility to inform Riverview Chevrolet what date needs put on stickers. My car’s inspection wasn’t expired until 1/2027. I always bring it in early to get it inspected. Date written on stickers was 11/26 and should have been 1/27. Took additional hour to get it corrected. Also asked if I was charged the “Vehicle owners 65 and older” fees for the state emissions test and showed Brian the sign in the service waiting area. He replied he had no idea what that was about and he was going to ignore it. I feel that as a customer the issue should have been addressed not swept under the rug. I was VERY dissatisfied with the service and am deciding if I should take my vehicle to another Chevrolet dealer to have it serviced from now on.

I went in because the front tire on the driver's side had a slow leak. This was the 3rd time I had this issue with different tires on that side. I was told this time that the tire had a nail in it, and it was unfixable. The suggestion was to replace the tire and the get another tire for the passenger side because the passenger tire was low on tread. I ask about my tires in the back, and he said the treads were still good on them. I wasn't too keen on the idea because I wasn't planning on spending that much money. I ask for a discount and was given a $50 discount. I appreciated the discount and everything seems to be ok for now. Thanks.

Jared Candelore was extremely helpful and considerate. He explained things so that us non-auto and non-computer type people could understand. This is our second vehicle purchased at this dealership and with the same sales person.

Service was a little slower than I would like

There was ZERO communication while my truck was at the dealership. It was there for 1 month, everything was fixed and I’m completely happy with the repairs. All i ever got was a text message saying my truck was done but when I asked about what was done or if the recalls were taking care of I got no response. The next day another text stating it was done, when I texted back “what was done” I again got nothing back. I left several messages for the service manager to call me back but again that never happened. After a few conversations with a lady named Jamie who works at the front desk, she was able to get me some answers as to what they did to my truck. I definitely will never return to this lot for future service or to buy another vehicle. When I finally picked my truck up, I got to talk to the service manager who only wanted to tell me about a bad employee who quit. He then told me that someone did call me, but I never received a phone call or had a voicemail. When I asked about warranty he told me it’s all in the paperwork.

I had a warranty. Riverview confirmed they would work with the warranty, as long as what was wrong was under warranty. The water pump & thermostat were replaced, as well as tire sensors (I forgot to tell them about that, but they still fixed it).

You did work that was NOT approved, was told not to do brakes and did anyway. Costing me more money that I really didn't have to spend at the time. I stopped at the dealership on Saturday and there was no manager there. Was told I will get a call today. But I will be stopping there today. This isn't my first time with having a issue there. Last time I was there with my Subaru they took forever had gotten new tires and alignment, was told at 3 was on the rack getting aligned and when i got there after work 4:30 was told it was on the rack getting alignment and then had to be test driven . and then couldn't find my car and I was on a timeline . Here it was parked in the lot.I was having to get my son to band practice . I never had issues before but lately the service there is not up to expectations. Alot of miscommunication between the Service department and me as a patron. Not everyone has money in the bank for repairs like that. I have a mechanic who would have done that alot cheaper for the brakes for what you charged , especially when I said NO!

The deal went fast and smooth and the whole team at Riverview McKeesport was very friendly. My salesman was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and answered every question I had. During the building process of my truck I was notified each step of the way and was informed the second it arrived on the lot. You need to do what you say you are going to do on your invoice how hard is it to top off and check fluid levels. I don't know if I will be getting my truck serviced there again iwill probably go to another dealership.

I bought my vehicle in June 2025. Returned to the dealer in July 2025 to address a defective third brake light lens. Was told that I would be notified when the part came in. I wasn't notified by November and called for a follow up and an appointment was made for November 20, 2025. I was to receive routine maintenance at this time too. In the interim, something went wrong in the engine compartment and my infotainment and warning light systems appeared to malfunction. Vehicle had drastic performance decrease and capabilities as well. I brought the vehicle in and initial attempt to rectify with new battery didn't fix the issue. I was given a loaner for a few days as other issues were identified. Eventually the issue was remedied under warranty and routine maintenance was completed. However the third brake light lens was not repaired and reflects poorly on the overall quality of my Chevrolet product. I was not provided with a detailed service receipt. Advisor stated technician has been away on medical leave.Several requests for detailed printed copy of exactly what was done to my vehicle have not been responded to as of 1/30/26. Missy was nice enough and helpful with providing loaner but overall I'm not happy with the resolution of the issues with my vehicle. I am hopeful that Chevy will cover warranty work in the future should the problem recur.

The associates working the front desk were very friendly, however the service for an oil change, inspection, and checking a tire took over 3 hours which seemed a bit long to me.

I scheduled my 2019 Tahoe for an oil change and to have splash guards installed. When I got to the dealership nobody bothered to order splash guards so I only got the oil change.

Dropped off my car oil change ,Told them in service dept,right front tire had a very slow leak ,they couldn’t fix it because it had a very tiny nail on the top of the wall of tire ,at the time tire gauge on dash showing it needed air ,so when I picked the vehicle up ,they didn’t put no air in it why???,I had to take it to a gas station and put air in it myself ,that’s totally wrong do your job the right way ! I shouldn’t as a customer should do that ,overall I wasn’t pleased with that service!

scheduled a service for tire rotation/ oil change, and general look over. i dropped it off the night before a 9am service the next day went to pick up my truck after work around 4:30pm and saw tires were not rotated when on my paperwork it said it was completed. i told service management and he asked the mechanic responsible if the work was done which he claimed it was. he looked at camera footage and saw it wasn’t done. they took my car back and i had to wait an hour after work for someone’s laziness. this is the second time this has happened to me at this location therefore i will be taking my vehicle elsewhere. if it wasn’t for me noticing i would’ve thought they were rotated and payed for a service that never happened. i wonder how many people they’ve done this too that hasn’t been caught. they also left oil all over my engine cover as well as on the front grille. i only got a free rotation when i believe the whole service should’ve been on the house. maybe even a detail would’ve been nice. i mean it is the second time its been done to me. but then again they probably would do a lazy job with the people they have working there.

I received great service from Mike. I had two vehicles inspected which I scheduled at short notice. Mike informed me of everything I needed to pass. Mike was pretty busy at the time but was still able to let me know about some specifications on some tires I was interested online. Thank you Mike keep up the great work

I came in for an issue and was told that the computer was reset 3 times. The issue came up twice and they released my vehicle to me after the 3rd reset. I was told GM knows about the issue and they will order it if the issue comes up again. I didn't even get home and the issue came up again. Instead of just releasing my car and tell me to see if it happens again, just say we will ordered the part. We will call you when the part comes in. No, they just release it and say let's see what happens.

Mostly everything was fine. I had asked to adjust the tire pressure, it didn’t appear to be done. While I got a free car wash and now what is called “free” check and tire rotation that had always been included with an oil change. Price seemed high. But everything is now.

The service was excellent and the staff were friendly. However, the AI bot I originally spoke to and the excessive text messages are annoying and frustrating. By spamming customers every day with irrelevant texts, you're causing discord. Consider fixing your text messaging system.

Traci my new service advisor was outstanding. She really knew what she was doing, knew I had 9,000 pts in my gm rewards which allowed me to use them towards my service payment (which no previous service advisor did). She was great on keeping me updated on how far along they were on the service of my truck. I hope all the new service advisors are like Traci. I will consider taking my truck back to Riverview Chevrolet for future service needs.

2021 truck purchased less than a year ago with 19400 miles total and only 6400 put on since purchased was brought in for inspection! The night before, when I was pulling out of my driveway, the check engine light came on. Monday morning I reported the check engine light to Riverview! Received a text that the estimate of my repairs would be $874. I called office , no answer. Received text what needed repaired sorry they missed the call! Called back and quote was reiterated and said must pay in order to pass inspection! Next day, received no call back waited until 430 pm I called and was told service person I was working with called off and I asked to speak to someone else and was transferred to service person that called off! Called back spoke with Shannon.. she was wonderful! She explained the check engine light was unable to be restricted but no repairs needed to be completed they just couldn’t do emissions until I drove 100 miles! I only ended up paying for tire rotation!

Donna got me in and took care of everything.

Scheduled oil change at 10am and got there before 10. Woman waited on me but could not find my appointment in the computer. She looked it up by my name and phone number. I had the email and text confirmation of appointment but was ignored. She was mumbling something and said it’ll be about an hour and walked off. 1.5 hours later I was called into the garage to look at a picture of my tire. They said it’s wearing unevenly and recommended an alignment. I wasn’t comfortable doing that because I had been there for over 1.5 hours. I declined. If I come back for the alignment, I will have to leave it overnight. You all should tell people on the website that every appointment is going to take up to 1.5 hours, even oil changes. This appointment made my medical condition flare up and essentially ruined the rest of my day.

Riverview Chevrolet's service department continues to exceed my expectations. During my recent appointment, which was just a routine visit for an oil change, they identified an issue with the serpentine belt having significantly frayed. With a pending long-distance trip upcoming, this avoided an almost certain breakdown and disruption to our vacation. I appreciate the thoroughness and professionalism with which Manager Michael Cecere's service team operates.

I am so tired of the chaos of your sevice department. I got quoted a price on the phone which was completely different from what I was charged. I explained to the woman in your department that I get free inspections and she attempted to charge me for the inspection. She quoted me a total that was supposed to be the final cost of all the services I was receiving, even with the inspection being removed I was charged 100.00 more than I was charged. I have never had problems with your service in the many years that I’ve been purchasing vehicles from your dealership, but at this point I am contemplating buying elsewhere from now on. When Darryl was in the service department I never had issues. Now your service is a mess. So sad

I have been dealing with Android Auto issues for 5 months!!!! No navigation on my dash which was primary reason for buying and also being new to area! Mike the technician took the time to listen, and verify what the issue was. New radio. FIXED and it works perfect now. Thankyou Mike now I can move around and feel comfortable. Great job.
